Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias criticized the main opposition New Democracy (ND) on Friday of ignoring foreign policy rules following criticism from the party on the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Suppose that the opposition indeed did not understand the importance of Erdogan’s visit. The fact that it doesn’t understand it doesn’t make its position any sounder. On the contrary: inertia and neo-isolationism do not become sounder just because ND ignores foreign policy rules,” he tweeted.
