Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the NATO foreign ministers meeting on Friday. Diplomatic sources said they discussed the FYROM name issue and relations with Turkey.
According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, the meeting tomorrow will focus on the alliance’s policy for the Middle East, North Africa and West Balkans, and on its relations with Russia. At a working luncheon, the foreign ministers of member states will discuss current developments and the situation in Afghanistan.
Kotzias is also scheduled to meet on Friday with his counterparts from Canada, Norway and Turkey, on the sidelines of the NATO meeting.
