Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday met with US ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt at the latter’s request.
According to sources, the leader of the main opposition reiterated to the US envoy the need for Turkey to immediately release the two Greek servicemen that are held in the Turkish prison in Edirne.
The two officials also discussed issues of bilateral interest.
