Defence Minister Panos Kammenos will not travel to the United States as his scheduled Emirates flight to New York was cancelled due to bad weather at the city’s airport, according to ministry sources.
Kammenos was invited to participate at the annual White House event marking the start of Greece’s War of Independence in 1821, on March 25.
