The central government cash balance recorded a deficit of 4,434 million euros in 2017, from a deficit of 3,569 million euros in the last year, the Bank of Greece said in a report released on Thursday.
During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 48,415 million euros, compared to 48,941 million euros in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure, including expenditure of about 2,124 million euros for the repayment of arrears (compared to 3,850 million euros last year), amounted to 53,128 million euros, from 51,143 million euros in January-December 2016.
