The steps to re-establish collective labour bargaining, the procedure for setting the minimum wage and the legislation to lack of job security after Greece exits its adjustment program this summer, were discussed in a meeting between Greek Labour Minister Efi Achtsioglou and her Portuguese counterpart Jose Antonio Vieira da Silva in Lisbon.
Achtsioglou is on official visit to Portugal, where she also met Secretary of State of Employment Miguel Cabrita and the head of the country’s Labour Inspectorate Maria Luisa Guimaraes to discuss practices to best supervise the labour market and improve the role of the Labour Inspectorate.
