European Parliament Vice-President and SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis on Wednesday urged the new German finance minister, who will be selected from the Social Democratic party (SPD), to push forward with investments inside the country to help the European economy.
“The new government and finance minister should make more investments inside Germany, increase salaries [and] boost the German economy because it will be better not only for the German society but also for European economy,” he told Deutsche Welle’s television.
