New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin stressed the commitment to the strategic nature of Greek-Israeli relations and their further strengthening in a meeting on Wednesday, the last day of Rivlin’s three-day official visit to Greece.
According to the party, Mitsotakis and Rivlin emphasised cooperation in the areas of energy, tourism and high technology, as well as the importance of the work between Greece, Israel and Cyprus in regional stability and peace.
Mitsotakis also mentioned Greece’s concern over Turkey’s provocative behaviour in the Aegean, the party said.
