Government sources on Monday said the statements by Defence Minister and junior coalition party leader (ANEL) Panos Kammenos earlier in the day scenarios of a rupture in the government coalition concerning the ongoing FYROM name talks, citing .
Kammenos denied a press report that his party intends to pull out of Greece’s ruling coalition government if a proposed solution to the FYROM name dispute that includes the term “Macedonia” is brought to Parliament.
“The statements of Panos Kammenos put an end to various scenarios of a government crisis by some busybodies of the old political system,” the sources said.
“No matter how much some people do not want it, this will be the government that will lead the country out of memoranda and guardianship,” they added.
