ND’s Koumoutsakos expresses concern over slicing of package ‘name, use, irredentism’ on FYROM issue

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) responsible for Foreign Affairs Giorgos Koumoutsakos expressed his deep concern over the possibility of salami-slicing of the inseparable package ‘FYROM name, use and irredentism’ in interview with Real News on Sunday.
As he noted, the crucial date is the EU Summit on May 17 under the Bulgarian EU presidency that will focus on the Western Balkans and “if there is a result in the European context this also have an impact in NATO”.
He said that the conditions are better than those in 2007 and the government “should bring a much better agreement”.
