Greece’s Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and his Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati reported significant progress during their recent bilateral talks in Korce, Albania, in a joint announcement issued by the foreign ministries in both countries on Sunday. The talks were held between January 19 and 21.
“Following-up on the meeting that took place in Crete last November, both teams achieved substantial progress towards reaching sustainable and forward-looking solutions to outstanding issues, to the mutual benefit of both countries and their citizens, in accordance to European values and norms.
“The discussions were conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere and both sides reiterated their commitment to further pursue the dialogue at all levels in the few coming months,” the announcement said.
