New Democracy on Monday condemned all acts of violence, in response to comments from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras linking the opposition party with the attack on Thessaloniki’s mayor over the weekend.
“For New Democracy, violence is violence, wherever it may come from, and it must be handled as a top priority by the next government. If Mr Tsipras has an inch of shame, he should be ashamed of his insolent reference to New Democracy,” the party said in a statement.
