US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt met with main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the latter’s parliamentary office on Friday.
New Democracy party sources said the half-hour meeting was part of regular contact the two have agreed to. This is the third time in the last two months that Mitsotakis meets with the US ambassador.
Mitsotakis later met with George Papandreou to discuss the former prime minister’s initiatives on foreign affairs issues.
