The ministry of economy will be the ministry tasked with attracting and mobilizing investments in Greece and, to this end, measures are already being prepared to facilitate licensing procedures, Economy Minister Yiannis Dragasakis said on Wednesday, during a meeting with Russia’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Sergey Levin.
According to a ministry press release, Dragasakis proposed strengthening cooperation between the economic bodies of the two countries, noting that Greece’s imminent exit from its adjustment program in August and its economic recovery offer an important opportunity for further improvement of economic relations with Russia.
Levin presented Yekaterinburg’s candidacy bid to host the 2025 World Expo, which was lodged at the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris.
